Max Mann, CFA®, CMT
Baird Equity Asset Management | Portfolio Manager
Max has 13 years of investment experience and has been with Baird’s Asset Management group since 2016. He manages portfolios for institutional and high-net-worth clients, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for COA Youth & Family Centers and Secure Futures. Before joining Baird Equity Asset Management, Max spent seven years in Baird’s Institutional Equities and Research department. He graduated in 2008 from Northwestern University with a BA in economics and was a member of the varsity baseball team. In 2012, Max earned the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician designations.
Michael Thelen, CFA®
Baird Equity Asset Management | Portfolio Analyst
Michael has 10 years of investment experience and has been with Baird’s Asset Management Group since 2013. He is a Portfolio Analyst. Before joining Baird Equity Asset Management, Michael spent a year as intern in Baird’s Operations department. He graduated in 2013 from Marquette University with a BS in Finance and Supply Chain Management and in 2022, earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation
Justin W. Nichols
Managing Director | Financial Advisor
Justin is a Financial Advisor serving the Houston, Memorial Area with over 20 years of experience.
His client's come from various ages and backgrounds and he tailors his approach to each individual's unique situation. Justin believes in a planning-based practice and works closely with clients so that they have a clear direction and understanding of their financial picture. He believes that a client's clear understanding is essential to them being able to continue to reach their goals and objectives.
Having survived the collapse of the markets after 9/11 as well as the crisis of 2008, he offers both the experience and knowledge to guide clients through tough circumstances.
Justin is actively involved in his community. He has coached baseball through Post Oak Little League and football through Spring Branch Memorial Sports Association. In addition, he and his wife Courtenay Nichols were Co-Presidents of Memorial High School Booster Club for the 2019-2020 school year.
